Donation Requests

Karen has a history of generous donations to non-profit Greyhound adoption groups (and Italian IG rescue, and others), and is happy to donate one or two collars for fund raising at special events.

She sends certificates for free collars to ensure that the people receiving the certificates are able to get properly sized collars in their choice of colors and materials.

Due to Hal's work and business travel schedule, it has become increasingly difficult to respond in a timely manner to requests coming to us by e-mail. Therefore, we ask that all adoption groups follow the guidelines below when sending requests for donations.

1. Send requests in writing to Karen Hawley at PO Box 2556, Issaquah, WA 98027-0116.
    
2. In your request, identify the name of the group, and the name and address of the person to whom the collar certificates should be sent.
    
3. Tell us whether the group is or is not non-profit under IRS guidelines. (If the group is not non-profit, it is still eligible to receive a donation.)
    
4. Enclose a stamped (one stamp), self-addressed business (legal) sized envelope (corresponding to the name and address in item 2, above).
    
5. Send requests at least two weeks before your event, but no more than six weeks before the event.
